Muhaimin Ibnu Hasan
Ibnu joined Assegaf Hamzah & Partners in 2010, having previously served for six months as an intern with another prestigious Jakarta law firm.
Since arriving at AHP, Ibnu has found his vocation in commercial law, and now specializes in public debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, insolvency, and competition / antitrust law. He has been involved in a number of recent high-profile mandates handled by AHP, including the 2010 initial public offerings of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure, the first by an Indonesian cellular infrastructure developer, and the USD 382.8 million IPO by PT Garuda Indonesia , Indonesia’s national flag carrier, in 2011, which marked the first ever public offering by an Indonesian airline.
Ibnu graduated with a bachelor of law degree in 2010 from the University of Indonesia, where he was an active member of a wide range of student societies, including the Business Law Society and the Student Research Organization
A regular participant in legal discussion forums, Ibnu has attended recent seminars / workshops on mining law, mergers and acquisitions, the capital markets, aviation law, and contract drafting. A former Jakarta Tourism Ambassador, he has a particular interest in matters pertaining to tourism and public administration.
In his spare time, Ibnu, a devotee of Japanese culture, enjoys drawing manga (Japanese-style) cartoons, at which he is reputed to be something of a dab hand.
