Eri Raffaera Budiarti

Eri, who commenced her legal practice right after graduation, amassed considerable experience and expertise working with a number of other premier law firms in Jakarta prior to making the move to Assegaf Hamzah & Partners in 2007.

Here at AHP, she focuses her practice on general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market work, and has played a leading role in a wide range of major transactions involving both domestic and international blue-chip corporations in recent years. She also served as a prominent member of the legal team that assisted the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) in its efforts to resurrect the domestic banking sector in the wake of the Asian Financial Crisis of 1997/98, an experience that provided her with in-depth, first-hand knowledge of the banking industry.

Eri holds a bachelor of law degree, majoring in economic law, from the University of Indonesia (1995), and an advocate's professional training certificate from the Indonesian Bar Association (Peradi).

A practicing advocate, she is an active member of Peradi, as well as the Indonesian Legal Consultants Association (AKHI).
