Arief Zakaria
Arief graduated from Faculty of Law, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung in 1995. Before joining Assegaf Hamzah & Partners, Arief was joined in one of the premier law firm’s in Jakarta, Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo (1997-2005). After that he had experience in working with PT Bank OCBC Indonesia as the Head of Legal and Credit Administration Division.
Arief has extensive experiences in Banking & Finance and also in General Corporate Law. Among the Banking and Finance projects that he has involved in are: (i) the extension of loan and other banking facilities to PT Satelindo Tbk, PT United Tractors Tbk, PT Jakarta Setiabudi International Tbk, PT Astra Graphia Technologies Tbk, PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk; (ii) the loan and debt restructuring of Chandra Asri Group and Sinar Mas Group conducted by IBRA; as well as (iii) representing Rabobank Netherlands in the acquisition of PT Bank Haga and PT Bank Hagakita, as well as Maybank in the acquisition of PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk.
